Taking a Week Off Blogging Here

March 26, 2010

in General

It’s almost Passover over here in Israel and this year, our family celebrates by taking a coast to coast hike with the kids.

This may sound intimidating to your Americans, but rest assured the distances are much shorter on this part of the world. We’ll be walking from the coast of the Mediterranean to the “coast” of the Sea of Galilee – all in all about 45 miles.

We’ll be walking with the kids, so we’re taking it nice and slow, hopefully taking about a week from start to finish. The plan is to camp overnight and even have the traditional Passover Seder night while camping – should be interesting!

I’ll be keeping my Twitter account active, updating with pictures and tweets on the go (thank you iPhone!), so if you want to keep in touch, do follow me.

Oh, if you’re Jewish or just interested in the Jewish tradition, you may want to take a look at my latest post on my personal blog: How about an Alternative Passover tradition?

So long everyone, take care and keep an eye on Internet to make sure it’s running smoothly when I get back home.
