I’ve been contemplating starting my own web publishing blog for a while now. They tell us web readers like lists, right? so here’s mine:
Pros to starting a web publishing blog -
- A place for me to jot down my thoughts about web publishing.
- A place for my notes about stuff that I learn online.
- A place for my impressions on various web services and products that I use as a webmaster (I’ll give you a fair warning whenever I use an affiliate link i.e. have an invested interest).
- Hopefully, down the road, a way to brand myself as a webmaster (webmistress?) and, eventually, to leverage that into promoting my other websites.
Cons -
- Another blog??? oh no, not another website that requires constant updating!
- Another WordPress blog? uh oh… add one more to the bi-weekly upgrade list…
- Another Webmasters blog? don’t we have too many of these already?
So, you see, it’s 4 pros and only 3 cons, so I’m moving ahead with it! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you add me to your list of places to visit (and to your blogroll too!)

Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that I think a Webmaster blog is a good idea. I do a similar thing with SEO stuff. And I also keep do follow blogs. I saw your post in sitepoint. I think I will keep better notes and expand my SEO blog to include wordpress and web design notes there to. Thanks for convincing me.
