Commenting Policy

Since this blog is a Dofollow blog, I have a fairly strict commenting policy in place to prevent spammers from getting this blog to link to bad neighborhoods.

The guidelines are meant for commenters who add a website URL. If you’re just leaving a comment without adding a website URL in the form, feel free to comment as you like – this page is not for you.

And if you are a spammer over here to do nothing but plant a link to your seedy “men health” site… then: Be Gone Spawn of Darkness!

  1. Your comment MUST be on-topic, unique and meaningful. That would usually require several sentences and no canned replied. If I’m not sure, I’ll probably Google for phrases to see if it’s comment spam or not.
  2. No keywords for names. Either put in your name or handle, or at least use something like “name at/from website”.
  3. The website in your URL can’t be spammy. That means no MFA’s, no scraper sites, and no sites on any topic that Squidoo does not allow lenses about.

I’m really sorry if your comment/link are legit and they get trashed – please carefully read these commenting guidelines to avoid that.

Absolutely, you have to have strict guidelines, otherwise you will be bombarded with tons of trash.
I have a blog that ended up with hundreds of trashy comments because I was not careful about who I allowed to comment.
You have a quality site and I appreciate it.
